the other day i picked up the magazine 'picket fences' that gifted me a new item in the settlement building part of the game. and later i received a new wall decoration for completing a quest. mainly i was wondering if there are any other types of magazines or quest rewards you have come across that granted you access to new items in the
thanks for the suggestion. unfortunately i was referring to tilting objects in build mode such as fences and large vehicles. if you want to build a fence going downhill or place a large object on uneven ground and make it look like it's leaning, there's really no way to do it, at least not with the console version of place anywhere.

i remember playing dark cloud 2, which had a settlement building feature too. you couldn't customize everything about the houses, especially the interiors, but the interface and ease-of-use seems way better than fallout 4. and that was back on the ps2. i know it's not always fair to compare completely different games, but i just thought of it

2. is there any way to build on a slope? i'm in sanctuary and want to build a fence around. the fence auto clicks together, but as the ground slopes down, my fence keeps on going strht out into the air. and i can't manually put down fence pieces because as soon as i get close to the other one, if i'm not picking the magnet location, it's red
one piece of fence away from completion and i get a pop up 'nothing more can be built in this settlement'. lol laugh now, cry later. just a heads up in case anyone out there is as stupid as me and didn't realise there was a limit to how much stuff you could build what a waste. the 3rd or 4th steel wall snaps right and has no hover fyi
